The Optics and Quantum Information Division of the Center for Optics and Photonics at the University of Concepción, CEFOP, invites students of master’s and doctorate in physics to apply for two vacancies for thesis in the area of Optics and Quantum Information, under the advise of Dr. Leonardo Neves.
This group, of 6 researchers and 12 students, aims to expand its theoretical and experimental researches, incorporating a student for master’s thesis on “Experimental state discrimination.” While a second member would address his doctoral thesis on “Discrimination of single photon images”
Some requirements are:
• Motivation for the theoretical and experimental work
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and quantum information
• Basic knowledge of English.
• Ability to work as a team.
